This is a story on how Gutenmorgen opens the third eye, but nobody likes the way he looks.
Gutenmorgen has a deteriorating eyesight, so he attends courses in order to open the third eye. Having openend the third eye Gutenmorgen has to face family disapproval of the apish appearance. Unfortunately, his friends do not support a distinct look. The Third Eye has to be washed away, so Gutenmorgen comes home drunk.
"Gutenmorgen and the Third Eye" is the second short feature directed by Elina Eihmane based on the short stories of one of most notable contemporary Latvian writers Maris Berzins. The first in the series was released in 2009 - "Gutenmorgens and the Time Machine." These films are addressed to audiences of all ages. Gutenmorgen is an average middle-aged Latvian who gets in various everyday situations and resolves them in unusual ways. The short feature opens with a morning scene where Gutenmorgen is standing at the window and he understands that he hardly sees. In order to solve this problem, he decides to approach it in his own different way - and starts wandering around the city, roves in a yoga salon, decides to open his third eye. Of course, neither his family nor friends can understand why he should do so.
